Desert tour Day ; Desert Trip Ouarzazate - Mhamid - Chegaga - Desert - Ouarzazate by 4x4

Day 1: Ouarzazate - Agdz - Zagora - M'hamid, the gateway to the desert.

Meet up at 9:00 am. Depart in a 4x4 towards Mhamid, passing through the Tizi-N-Tifntit pass (1760m), and continue to the town of Agdz, where you'll enjoy a panoramic view of the Draa Valley. Then, we'll proceed along the valley to Afraa, with a stop in Tamgroute to visit the Quranic library, the underground kasbah, and the pottery workshops. Finally, we'll continue our journey towards the desert. Upon arrival in Mhamid, have lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, explore the old Kasbah, and in the evening, enjoy dinner around the campfire with Sahrawi folklore entertainment. Spend the night in a Nomad tent.

Day 2: Mhamid - Erg Chegaga by 4x4.

After breakfast around 9:30 am in M'Hamid, the camels will be ready for a half-day excursion to the Draa hamada (a combination of walking and camel riding) through the erg and reg landscapes. Lunch will be under the shade of tamarisk trees. Around 2:00 pm, we'll get back into the 4x4 and head to the Chegaga sand dunes to witness the sunset. On the way, you may also visit the sacred oasis. Set up camp around the campfire at the feet of the large Chigaga dunes and enjoy some entertainment.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga - Dry Iriqui Lake - Moroccan Colorado Desert - Taznakht - Ouarzazate by 4x4.

After breakfast, we'll depart for Ouarzazate via a track between the Chegaga dunes and the dried bed of the Draa River, passing by the Iriqui Lake and the Moroccan Colorado Desert. Then, we'll continue through Foum Zguid and take the road to Taznakht, the capital of carpets in Morocco. You can stop at a carpet cooperative for explanations about the different types of carpets from the region if you wish. After a lunch break, we'll resume the journey towards Ouarzazate.
